Goals Should be More than Just Goals

How many of you set goal’s?

I would venture to say that just about everyone at one time or another has set goals. So how come not everyone   attains their goals? Why do some people seem to attain every goal they set and others never seem to get there? The answer is your goals should be more than just goals! You ask what does that mean? It means that your goals should be more than just a thing you write down and then forget about. It means your goals need to become your driving passion. Let’s face it if you are not passionate about your goals how are they going to come to pass.

Look at children in school. They excel at the subjects they really enjoy the ones they are passionate about, but the ones they don’t enjoy they don’t seem to do as well. My children are living examples of this. My daughter loves Science, English, and Social Studies, but Math is something she is not passionate about and it’s a subject she has to work the hardest at. Where ever possible she avoids math. It wouldn’t surprise me if those who do not achieve their goals do the same thing. They want success but they are not willing to put in the work needed to bring to pass the goal. There’s no true passion and burning desire for the goal to come to pass. I think most everyone would  like their goals to come to pass without doing anything. Witness the number of people who would like to make tons of money by participating in get rich quick schemes, lotteries etc. Most get rich schemes are quite simply schemes that make other people money at your expense. So get off of your butt and take action on your goals. I’ll bet you’ll be surprised at the increase in the number of your goals that come to pass.

So Set your goals and get passionate about receiving them, when you are believing your goals will absolutely come to pass.
